SUSTAINABLE SURFER SEEKS WASTE AT SUMNER (New Zealand)

Sienna O’Shannessy, aged 14 from Sumner in Christchurch, is doing her bit to clean up the coastal area around her local beach to ensure litter does not make its way into the water. Sienna is photographed at dusk on the morning of her birthday.

“I believe we must collectively do our part to make a difference in our own back yard’’

Dr Jane Goodall visited Rangi Ruru Girls’ School recently and encouraged us all to do a little bit in our local environment. In doing this we can make a difference and join the pieces of good work like a jigsaw.
